Bibi Wine Bar (East Village)

This wine haunt in the East Village is perfect for an after-hours aperitivo. Sun pours in through the giant windows, creating a warm and inviting setting to enjoy your glass. Scrumptious little bites and generous pours make it perfect for a solo outing, a first date, or a group catch-up. Bonus points for an amazing happy hour, every day until 8 pm. Rhodora (Fort Greene)

Zero waste and carbon neutral, Rhodora is driven by a mission-driven team. This cozy Brooklyn spot whips up tinned fish and briny olives paired with an elite selection of natural wines. Alongside their curated menu, the wine bar collaborates with different chefs, statewide, for their patrons to explore new flavors and pairings.

Moonflower (West Village)

Flower motif and wine are never a bad combination. This local spot is perfect for a little catch-up session with your best friends. The wine list here is al’ naturale and pairs perfectly with some whipped ricotta and prosciutto served on colorful, dainty plates, fitting of its home. Pop in Tuesday through Friday, 4-6 pm, for happy hour selections and bites.

Elvis (Noho)

Headed by the minds behind Le Dive, Elvis brings French elegance with a vintage 70s flair to Noho. Intimate, moody, and low-lit, Elvis is where a no-nonsense glass meets downtown cool. Small batch bottles pair perfectly with warm artichoke and beef tartare. And in lieu of corporate Summer Friday hours, the bar announced its summer hours, opening earlier at 2 pm on Fridays and 1 pm on Saturdays.

The OX (Williamsburg)

An intimate, 20-seat wine bar near the Wythe Hotel, The OX is a hidden gem tucked behind a wine shop. The industrial-chic space exudes a moody charm, with a natural-leaning list and a vinyl soundtrack that keeps things cool. Seasonal small plates — such as cheese and chorizo croquettes or the crab wedge salad — pair perfectly with a glass of orange wine (we particularly enjoyed the Gulp Hablo).

Good Guy’s (Lower East Side)

Recently debuted on Eldridge Street, Good Guy’s is a wine and aperitivo bar from the team behind one of New York’s most beloved cocktail haunts: Attaboy. Inspired by Barcelona tapas joints and Parisian wine bars, Good Guy’s channels that energy with a stylish, laid-back vibe. The menu leans into tinned fish, anchovy toast, and other small bites that pair perfectly with a killer wine list. (Did someone say chilled red?)

June (Cobble Hill)

This Cobble Hill gem is a must for natural wine lovers in Brooklyn. The menu has been dedicated to natural wines that showcase the grapes at their finest. The interior design channels a vintage Parisian vibe, featuring dark wood, antique mirrors, and glowing bulbs, creating a chic, refined environment to savor the finest sip.

Ruffian (East Village)

Excellent food, and even better wine, Ruffian is the small bar to be recognized as an oenophile. With the wine list boasting 250+ selections by the bottle, Ruffian is East Village’s bridge to Eastern Europe, highlighting the flavors and wine-making traditions of the oldest wine-making regions in the world.

B’Artusi (West Village)

B’Artusi has their West Village corner on lockdown. Its charismatic interiors stem from checkered board floors, vintage mirrors, marble-clad table tops, and its pea-green bar accents. The wine setlist is curated by L’Artusi beverage director Anncherie Saludo, focusing on smaller, family-owned estates and female winemakers from France and Italy.

Sauced (East Village & Williamsburg)

A cult favorite, Sauced is the OG natural wine bar in Williamsburg, with a second location that recently opened in the East Village. Drawing a fun, unpretentious crowd, both outposts promise a good time—and you’ll likely leave with a better sense of what kind of wine is your vibe. Known for large-format pours, energetic playlists, and a party-like atmosphere on weekends.
